We have a shared vision in the Fern Ridge School District: Provide excellence for every student so that each will reach their greatest potential. 

Thank you to the members of the public who have joined us. As a reminder, School Board meetings and work sessions are meetings of the Board held in public, providing an opportunity to observe the Board's discussion and actions. 
In an effort to conduct official Board business, we ask that the audience be respectful and refrain from questions, comments, and unnecessary noise while the Board conducts the meeting. 

Also, please note that all Board meetings are live-streamed and posted on the School Board area of the website.
 
 
2. Crucial Conversations - 2 big takeaways: something you can reflect on/apply to yourself, and something you can apply to the work of the board.

  1. Be prepared to talk about the following questions:
    1. What has been your most positive team experience (in your whole life)?
    2. What’s the best thing about being on our board?
    3. What’s the most challenging thing about being on our board?
    4. What is a goal we are all working toward?
    5. How does our communication speed or slow down our process?
4. Work in pairs to come up with goal recommendations for working together as a board for the rest of the year.
These goals will be about how we function as a team. We’ll share out after small group discussion.

The School Board meeting will be a hybrid of in-person and virtual attendance.

The doors to Elmira Elementary will be open at 5:15 pm.  If you are scheduled to speak at the meeting and the room is at capacity, there will be a waiting area in the hallway and you'll be notified when it's your time to address the board.
