Description:
Principal Spencer Okey nominated Jessica and noted she exudes a love of teaching, creates learning experiences for students academically and helps them become better people.  She shows love for her students in many ways and loves to demonstrate new learning strategies in the classroom.  Her passion and energy for teaching and learning are contagious.

Description:
Valley View 2nd Grade Team was nominated by their principal, Phil Nestoryak.  Mr. Nestoryak shared that they support students, and have built relationships with parents.  They recognize student needs and work as a team.  They are proactive and positive while focusing on blended learning and professional learning. They love their 2nd grade students and the students love them.

4.A. CTE Construction Pathways
Presenter:

Description:
The CTE Program in Weber School District has set a standard as one of the premiere Construction Pathways in the state with the hands-on skills students learn.  The Construction Capstone Tiny Homes at Weber Innovation has grown 270% in two years. Students are able to find internships, industry connections, post-high school programs at the OWTC and Weber State to begin careers in construction.

Description:
The calendar committee met to consider possible calendars for the 2022-2023 school year.  With input from school and district administration, parents, PTSA, WEA, classified employees and teachers, the committee recommends the Board approve the proposed school calendar for 2022-2023 on a first reading.
