Description:
The attached list of requisitions are items that buildings or departments would like to purchase for their upcoming needs.  The requisitions have gone through all the appropriate approval processes and have been approved by administration for purchase. In addition, there are funds available to make these purchases.  Once the requisitions are approved they will be processed and purchase orders will be sent out.

Description:
Ms. Zahr has previously worked as a food assistant and she is excited to be joining the Crestwood School District.

Description:
Ms. Brown has a long history of customer service, truly enjoys working with children.  Ms. Brown is looking forward to joining the Hillcrest Elementary team.

Description:
Ms. Saeed has two children that attend Crestwood School District.  She has often volunteered her time in the past with lunch monitoring, school activities, such as field trips and with the PTA.  Ms. Saeed is excited to be starting employment at Highview Elementary.

Description:
Ms. Wahbeh has volunteered many times as a monitor throughout the district.  She is excited for the opportunity to work as a lunch monitor.

Description:
Ms. Alzein has a background in education and taught pre-k as an Arabic teacher, moved to the United States and is very excited to be back in a school environment.

Description:
Mr. Mitchell has 20+ years of truck driving experience, and has a CDL License.  He understands all HACCP procedures as well as truck maintenance and routine maintenance, he previously worked as a bus driver and understands the importance of diving cautiously in and around school grounds.

Description:
Mr. Barlage earned his Bachelor of Science from Western Michigan University.  He has attended Wayne State University, the University of Detroit Mercy, and Eastern Michigan University in order to earn his teaching endorsement as well as three Masters degrees and an Educational Specialist degree.   He has taught for 17 years and worked with students in several grades and has experience supporting EL students as well as special education students.

5.a.8) Appointment of Science Teacher - CHS - Tammy Laroche

Description:
Ms. Laroche earned her Bachelor of Science from Eastern Michigan University, her 
Secondary Education Certification from Eastern Michigan University and a Masters Degree from Saginaw Valley State University.  She is a member of the National and Michigan Science Teacher’s Associations. She has 22 years of teaching experience and has served as department chair, the planetarium director, Science Olympiad coach, and class sponsor.  She also established the Molecular Biology curriculum in accordance with state standards.

Description:
Ms. Beydoun earned her Bachelor of Elementary Education from Wayne State University and her Masters of Arts in TESOL from Spring Arbor University.  She most recently served in the role of a Title I Resource teacher and has 5 years of experience in education.  Ms. Beydoun has participated in volunteer service for organizations such as Zamaan International, St. Jude, and Henry Ford College.  She has worked with administration to plan and implement instructional support through the implementation of School Improvement efforts and MTSS.

Description:
Ms. Bell earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan and her 
Masters of Arts in Education from Marygrove College.  She has experience working with 
the City of Detroit Health Department and the Department of Human Services where she served as a Family Independence Specialist and a Child Support Specialist.  She has extensive knowledge in Biology and Chemistry and has taught Biology courses at Wayne County Community College.  Her focus is on promoting a positive classroom environment and she has thoroughly enjoyed being in the classroom and working directly with students to engage them in science instruction.
