Once the requisitions are approved they will be processed and purchase orders will be sent out.

Crestwood Administration has reviewed the proposals submitted for the Swing Gates and will be recommending Nationwide Construction Group for the project. The project will install gates at all schools, limiting outside traffic after hours. The proposal submitted met or exceeded all the specifications stated in the RFB. Nationwide has done work with numerous school districts across Michigan and are highly recommended.

Crestwood Administration has reviewed the proposals submitted for district wide copiers and will be recommending UTEC. The proposal submitted met or exceeded all the specifications stated in the RFB. The district has had a longstanding working relationship with UTEC, providing copier services for the past 11 years. The company has provided quality service to the district during that time, with quick turnaround on service.

Crestwood Administration has reviewed the proposals submitted for district wide camera installation and will be recommending ROK. The proposal submitted met or exceeded all the specifications stated in the RFB. ROK is an authorized reseller of the products we require. They are proficient in installation and support of cameras, servers and software. The district has worked with ROK to install and support our existing video surveillance systems. I have attached the initial bid comparison worksheet.

Description:
The Crestwood School District has been working over the past several years with MRS. The partnership improves access to vocational rehabilitation (VR) services for students with disabilities in secondary education who are interested in becoming employed upon high school completion. This program will enhance the delivery of Transition VR services to the target population. MRS and school staff will collaborate on VR services and supports which promote successful employment/career outcomes. Students will access a community internship which allows them to transfer the skills learned in the classroom directly to real life work environments and work experiences. The internship will create real work opportunities for students which contribute to the resume building and employment skill development. Students will acquire the required soft skill development to effectively transition from school to work. Total cost to the district will be $15,000

She is currently in the process of completing her Ed.D. of Curriculum and Practice and a specialization in second language acquisition from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. In her capacity as World Languages Program Director at Madonna University, she had revised the Spanish curriculum, including developing several new courses and re-writing existing courses’ learning objectives and descriptions aligned with ACTFL/CAEP Standards for the Preparation of Foreign Languages Teachers and ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines (2013) and aligned with Quality Matters standards.
