2. School District Audit Report for Fiscal Year 2012:

Description:
Joel Stencel, Auditor with Eide Bailly, will be present to review the FY2012 audit report and findings. The official audit report will not be available during this meeting, but will be ready for our December 17th meeting. Final approval of the audit report will be requested on the 17th.

Description:
As part of the Truth in Taxation Presentation, information on our current year budget, the process for determining our school district levy, and our proposed Payable 2013 Levy will be discussed. Opportunity for questions will provided at the conclusion of the presentation.

Using feedback from board members and administrators, I would like to set January 14th as our planning retreat day. We will begin our discussions at 1 p.m. and conclude with an evening meal. Location is still TBD.

Along with five previously approved policies - 521, 522, 524, 526 and 531 – to be reviewed against current revisions provided by MSBA, I have included a copy of a proposed Food Service Account policy for the district. The policy is ready for a final reading. I have attached copies of the current MSBA version and our current
version for comparative purposes. |
