he North Slope Borough School District Board of Education holds retreats to discuss issues relevant to public education. Topics on the agenda will likely call for board action during a subsequent business meeting. The discussions are primarily among board members. The following procedure will be applied to all board workshops, work sessions, and retreats. The retreat will:
• Be a publicly noticed meeting. • Invite comments of individuals or groups for the purpose of further explaining an issue. • Not entertain motions. • Be recorded but no minutes will be generated. |
