III. The Board of Trustees of the Mesquite Independent School District will meet in a special called meeting on February 5, 2022 at 8:00 p.m. (Rescheduled from February 3 due to inclement weather and district closing). The meeting will be held in the Administration Building, located at 3819 Towne Crossing Blvd., Mesquite, Texas.
The purpose of this meeting is to: 1. Review and discuss applications for the In-House General Counsel Position 2. Consider all matters relating to selecting a superintendent of schools including conducting interviews with superintendent candidates and naming a lone finalist. The Board may name a lone finalist and declare intent to enter contract at this meeting. Otherwise, at the conclusion of this session the Board may recess until further notice. The Board will convene in open session for these meetings and go into closed session for discussion and interviews under Section 51.074 (Personnel) of the Open Meetings Act. No Action will be taken |
