II.D. Summer 2020 Capital Project Programming

Description:
The attached PDF (Capital Projects 2020) represents the updated estimated costs to date for FY20 capital projects. 20 Fund projects will utilize funding already budgeted in FY20, and 60 Fund projects will be a fund balance deduction. Scope of work and construction cost estimates will be reviewed during the Building & Sites meeting today, and request to release projects for public bid will be presented at the December Board meeting.
Based on the preliminary project planning and review of the Long Range/Life Safety Plans, ARCON was asked to provide their assessment (attachment ARCON District Priorities) of the top 5 capital project priorities. Also attached for discussion is a PDF (Paving Improvement Options) with the 3 levels of paving work under consideration, ranging from lowest cost/scope to highest cost/scope. It is administration's recommendation to proceed with option 2. |

II.F. PHYBS Proposal Update

Description:
PHYBS has submitted a formal proposal to the District outlining their proposed improvements to the Lou Johnson Field. Following the October meeting of the Buildings & Sites committee, Administration communicated several concerns and items in need of further clarification by PHYBS. PHYBS has also met with AHPD and AHYAA to discuss plans and the potential for financial support.
