3.B.1. The students of Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose Schools who have raised funds for Haiti earthquake relief:
3.B.1.a. $1584 from Hanover Elementary Hats for Haiti led by the 3rd Grade Students.  Staff and students paid $1 every day they wanted to wear a hat during the week of February 1-5.
3.B.1.b. $2100+ from Buffalo High School Hair Dying for Haiti led by the Student Council and Globally Minded Student Activists
3.B.1.c. $120 from Buffalo Community Middle School led by the Cultures United group
3.B.1.d. $1400+ from Northwinds Elementary led by Lori Olson's 5th Grade students
3.B.1.e. $1800+ from KidKare Helping Hands for Haiti craft and bake sale and silent auction.
3.B.2. Sam Hamann, 6th grader at BCMS, who is the District Spelling Bee Winner.  Hunter Zwack, 7th grader at BCMS took 2nd place.
3.B.3. Gina Filo, Senior at BHS, who is a National Merit Finalist.
3.B.4. Scott Palmer, BHS Social Studies Teacher, who was selected as Boys Class AA Track and Field Coach of the Year.  Scott has also been awarded a Butch Nash Award as one of eight named as "Top Assistant Football Coach" in the state.
3.B.5. BCMS Math Counts Team 1 who will compete at the State competition - Aaron Hamann, Ryan Bowers, Jack Larson and Samuel Hamann. At the region competition, Aaron Hamann was 1st Overall and in the Countdown Round. Ryan Bowers was 2nd Overall and in the Countdown Round. Jason Piechowski, Nathan Pierre, Tommy Dirks and Zeke Brallier also qualified to compete at the Region competition.
3.B.6. District Business Office Staff who received a 2010 School Finance Award in recognition of outstanding accomplishments in financial management, including compliance with state statutes.  The award reflects a proactive stance on positive fund balances, sound fiscal policies and practices, training initiatives and accountability.
