We had an awesome event! Attached is the Report Comparing all 8 galas. We will discuss what went well, what didn't, what to modify change, and what to discontinue.
2020 Dates - All Fridays in October are currently available. Should we consider October 23rd or 30th as we tend not to conflict with homecomings? |

Description:
Scholarship applications will be available February 3rd. Applications will be due March 6th by 3:00 p.m. Interviews will be scheduled the first week of April on the 7th, 8th, and 9th. Pending applications, interviews may flow into the following if needed. Tentative date for the awards breakfast is Thursday, May 21st.
It has been asked of the board to continue dialogue on considering offering second, third and fourth years scholarships to graduates. The board discussed this at the January meeting 2019 - Here is what was recorded in the minutes: "While offering second year scholarships would be helpful to students, donors would need to approve the use of their funds in this way, certain rules and processes would need to be created, and additional people resources would be needed.The committee will continue discussion around second year scholarships. There are currently some unclaimed funds by students. Students have 18 months to claim their scholarship per policy. Unclaimed scholarship funds could potentially go towards second year scholarships." The committee would like further discussion. |
