Description:
Executive Committee - Met this afternoon. Continued work on the recruitment and on-boarding process is still moving forward. Discussions for a May Board retreat to create a new 3-year strategic plan are also underway.
Scholarship Committee - Met in December and reviewed the scholarship application. Jennifer Bock converted the application into a format that can be completed electronically. The application is now live. Renewal of scholarship follow-ups are going on and requests to the civic groups who are not currently funding a scholarship are out. Gala and Fundraising - Will begin meeting again soon. Discussion for a different date will be in next board agenda item. Mentoring Committee - Language has been added to the scholarship application. Lesley will be working with Anne to schedule a first meeting of the committee. |

5. GALA DATE CHANGE DISCUSSION

Description:
Per conversations and information shared by Darren Kermes, it is highly recommended that we change the date of the gala from October 26th to another date.
We are waiting for alternative dates from Hazeltine, including dates in September and November. We will need to look at the pros and cons of the dates to try to project the opportunity for the largest turnout. |
