Description:
Under state law, proposed school construction projects over $2 million per site must be submitted to the commissioner of education for review prior to seeking voter approval of a bond referendum. The commissioner has 60 days to review and issue a positive, negative or unfavorable evaluation about the educational and economic advisability of the project. Board approval of the review and comment is requested.
