Description:
In accordance with A.C.A. § 6-42-104, the Advisory Council for the Education of Gifted and Talented Children makes an annual report regarding educational programs for gifted and talented children. The Council includes recommendations as a component of this report.
The Council’s recommendations include 1) removing the option to waive Gifted and Talented services for charters and districts with charter-like waivers and 2) increasing the award amount to districts that receive the Act 56 Award for Outstanding Gifted Programs. |
