3.E. Resolution to collect summer taxes - ROLL CALL VOTE
Description:
Annually, before December 31st, we must adopt the resolution to impose the property tax for the coming year.  Each taxing unit must be notified prior to that date as to whether we will collect 50% or 100% of our taxes.  At this time we are collecting 100% in the summer which has been the case for the ISD since 1993.  By collecting 100% of our school taxes during the summer it has not been necessary to borrow operating funds.

5.B. Ratify and approve filling the position of part-time Associate Classroom Coordinator (Willis Center) - ECE
Description:
We request that the board ratify and approve the filling of the position of Associate Classroom Coordinator with Shanna O'Leary at Step 1, Longevity 0 with a start date of October 22, 2018.  At the October board meeting we had requested permission to temporarily fill the position of part-time Assistant/Associate Classroom Coordinator, presently located at the Willis Center, pending full board approval.

6.A. Request permission to submit a Head Start Supplemental Grant Application - ECE
Description:
We are requesting permission to submit a Head Start Supplemental Grant Application for expansion of full-day programming.

Description:
We have been in consultation with a vendor for replacement of the fire alarm system at the Tech Center.  After analysis, it has become clear that the total cost will exceed the threshold requiring competitive bid.  Bids to be publicly opened at the December 12th board meeting.
