10.A. Consider Approval of Board Minutes from July 18, 2022, for a Regular Meeting.
10.B. Consider Approval of Claims Administrative Services as the provider of Workers Compensation Insurance for Castleberry ISD. With the selection of Option 2, the estimated contribution will be $51,686.00 and the loss fund maximum will be $159,149.00.
10.C. Consider Approval of Special Education Consultants: Financial Services advertised  RFP#22-011 for Special Education Consultant services. A list of recommended consultants is attached for your review.
11. ACTION ITEMS
11.A. Consider All Matters related to Financial, including but not limited to reports, finances, and/or proposals.
11.A.1. Consider Approval of a Resolution Authorizing the Defeasance of Certain Portions of the District's Currently Outstanding Obligations and Other Matters Related Thereto.
11.A.2. Consider adopting Ordinance No. 32. This ordinance accepts and approves the Tax Rolls and levies the AD Valorem Taxes for Castleberry ISD.

12.A. Consider All Matters related to Financial, including but not limited to reports, finances, and/or proposals.
12.A.1. Castleberry ISD Financial Services department received a donation from Jason's Deli in the form of 40 boxed lunches for the Secretary Professional Learning that was held on July 25, 2022. An appreciation letter from Financial Services is attached for your review.
12.A.2. Castleberry ISD Financial Services received a donation of $750.00 from First Financial. Their generous gift enabled Financial Services to provide an engaging professional learning day. An appreciation letter from Financial Services is  attached for your review.
12.A.3. Board Budget Report: As of June 30, 2022: This report shows Revenues and Expenditures by Fund and Function.
12.A.4. Quarterly Investment Report: As of June 30, 2022: This report shows District Investment by Fund for the period ending June 30, 2022.
12.A.5. Tarrant County Tax Collection Report as of June 30, 2022: This report reflects the amount of taxes, penalty, interest and delinquent taxes collected for the month and year to date and the percent of the total levy collected.
12.A.6. Monthly Expenditure Report: The attached schedule lists all checks written for the month of July 2022.
12.B. Consider All Matters Incident and/or related to Public Officers and Employees, including but not limited to, Contracts Resignations, Hiring, Assignments, Allocations, and Salaries.
12.B.1. Employee Resignation Update: Dr. Myrna Blanchard reports there are four professional resignations as of August 8, 2022.
12.B.2. Teacher Shortage/Retention: Dr. Myrna Blanchard, Director of Talent Acquisition and Policy provided a report on the district's efforts to retain teaching staff and fill teacher vacancies for the 2022-2023 school year.
12.B.3. Employee Agreement Approvals: Renee Smith-Faulkner, Superintendent of Schools reports two approved Employee Agreements for Police Officers at AV Cato Elementary and Joy James Academy of Leadership and eight Employee Agreements for Teachers for the 2022-2023 school year as of August 8, 2022. 
12.B.4. Professional Contract Approvals: Renee Smith-Faulkner, Superintendent of Schools reports five approved Professional Contracts for Teachers, Librarians, and Nurses and one approved Professional Contract for a Specialist for the 2022-2023 school year as of August 8, 2022.

The school board is invited to endorse a candidate for each position in our Region. The deadline to endorse a candidate is Wednesday, August 29, 2022.
