9.C. Consider Approval of TASB Risk Management Fund as the 2020-2021 District’s Property and Casualty Insurance Carrier for a Total Premium of $253,640.00.
9.D. Consider Approval of Special Education Consultants: Financial Services advertised RFP# 20-005 for special education consultants. A list of recommended consultants is attached for your review.
9.E. Consider Approval of Contracting with Superior Pediatric Care for Physical and Occupational Therapy for the Special Education Department in the 2020-2021 school year.
9.F. Consider Approval of Tejas School Services Purchasing CO-OP: The purpose of this Agreement is to form and operate the Tejas School Services Purchasing Co-Op to facilitate compliance with state biding requirements, to identify qualified vendors of commodities, goods and service, to relieve the burdens of the governmental purchasing function, and to realize the various potential economies, including administrative cost savings, for Cooperative Members.

10.A.1. Consider Approval of New Hire Contract Recommendations: There are twenty-two contract recommendations for this meeting as of May 22, 2020. An Addendum is anticipated.
10.A.2. Consider Approval Board Policy Audit Review of Local Policies: Presented for approval are the DBB (LOCAL), DBD (LOCAL), DCD (LOCAL), DFD (LOCAL), DFE (LOCAL) and DGA (LOCAL) policies.
10.A.3. Consider Approval of Proposed Teacher Contract Renewals: The Superintendent of Schools will present recommendations to the Board of Education of Proposed Teacher Contract Renewals.
10.A.4. Consider Approval of the Irma Marsh Middle School Assistant Principal Contract Recommendation:  The Superintendent of Schools will present recommendation to the Board of Education for approval of the Irma Marsh Middle School Assistant Principal.
10.A.5. Consider Approval of Waivers: Presented for approval are the T-TESS Waiver and the AFR Waiver the 2019-2020 school year.

10.C.1. Consider Approval of the Capital Improvements Projects Update (2020-21): The report reflects work scheduled to be completed and funds expended through the 2020-21 school year. This includes programming, renovations, and construction projects.
10.C.2. Consider Approval of the Replacement Plan (2020-21): Includes items that will be purchased through the Replacement Plan for the 2020-21 school year. 
10.C.3. Consider Approval of furniture purchase from MooreCo/PPG Furnishings not to exceed $90,333.32 for the Irma Marsh Middle School Renovation Project.
11. INFORMATION ITEMS
11.A. Consider All Matters related to Financial, including but not limited to reports, finances, and/or proposals.
11.A.1. TRS Active Care Rates for 2020-2021 are presented. The TRS Active Care rates for 2020-2021 increased for some plans, while others decreased. A premium comparison table of 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 is included for your review. 
11.A.2. Delinquent Tax Collection Report: The report includes information on the delinquent property tax collections for May 2020. This report has been prepared by CISD’s tax attorney’s Perdue Brandon Fielder Collins & Mott.
11.A.3. Child Nutrition Report: Includes information for ongoing programs implemented at various campuses including Lunch with the Chef and partnering with the CHS Culinary Arts Program for the Lone Star Chef Competition.  Employee training and community outreach continues to be a goal for the Child Nutrition Department.
11.A.4. The Castleberry ISD Police Department received a check donation of $500 from the National Police Association along with PPE equipment, 50 blue disposable safety masks and an AXON Aid Hand Sanitizer Bottle (a value of $75) from AXON Enterprise, Inc. An appreciation letter from Chief Provencio and a picture of the CISD officers with the check and supplies are attached.

11.B.1. Capital Improvements Projects Update (2019-20): The Projects Report reflects work scheduled to be completed and funds expended through the 2019-20 school year.
11.B.2. SHAC (School Health Advisory Council) Updates: The report includes information and updates from the School Health Advisory Council which highlights opportunities provided to students, parents, and community members.

11.C.1.a. Professional Learning Report:  A link to the professional learning website outlining the district’s professional learning plan along with a list of opportunities is provided.
11.C.1.b. Network/Infrastructure Program Information:  Includes information on the past year’s accomplishments including completed network, network infrastructure, and technology projects.
11.C.1.c. Elementary Mathematics Report: The 2019-2020 Elementary Mathematics Report includes program highlights, improvements, and solutions which have taken place over the 2019-2020 academic year.
11.C.1.d. Secondary Mathematics Report: The 2019-2020 Secondary Mathematics Report includes program highlights, improvements, and solutions which have taken place over the 2019-2020 academic year. 
11.C.1.e. Elementary Language Arts: The 2019-2020 Elementary Language Arts Report includes program highlights, improvements, and solutions which have taken place over the 2019-2020 academic year. 
11.C.1.f. Secondary English Language Arts: The 2019-2020 Secondary English Language Arts Report includes program highlights, improvements, and solutions which have taken place over the 2019-2020 academic year. 
11.C.1.g. Counselor Report: The 2019-2020 Counselor Report includes program supports provided to students, parents, and our community over the 2019-2020 academic year. 
11.C.1.h. Special Education Report: The report gives data and highlights for the Special Education programs in CISD. 
11.C.1.i. Fine Arts Report: The 2019-2020 Fine Arts report includes details about program highlights, improvements, and solutions that have taken place this past year. 
11.C.1.j. UIL Academic Report: The 2019-2020 UIL Academic Report highlights this past year’s UIL participation numbers and accolades from CISD campuses. 
11.C.1.k. Advanced Academics Report: This report will provide an update and status of advanced academic courses offered by Castleberry High School along with Dual Credit partnerships and On-Ramps Dual Enrollment with the University of Texas in Austin.

11.D.1. Review Resignations Received:  Nineteen resignations have been received as of May 22, 2020.
11.D.2. Volunteer report: The report provides statistics regarding the volunteer program at each campus.
11.D.3. On June 18, 2015, the Board of Education approved policy DC (LOCAL) delegating the Superintendent final hiring authority for Chapter 21 employees from the months of June 16 to August 31 annually. This policy will be practiced by administration through the summer hiring months.
