5.E.1. Continuation review of Board Policy Audit Review of Local Policies: Presented as an information item are the DBB (LOCAL), DBD (LOCAL), DCD (LOCAL), DFD (LOCAL), DFE (LOCAL) and DGA (LOCAL) policies.  Action Item on June 1, 2020.

7. CONSENT AGENDA
7.A. Consider Approval of Board Minutes from April 13, 2020, for a Regular Board Meeting.
7.B. Consider Approval of Expenditure Report for the month of April 2020:  The attached schedule lists all checks written for the month of April 2020.
7.C. Consider Approval of the Master Inter-Local Agreement with Region 11 Educational Service Center. The Master Inter-Local Agreement allows Districts to participate in purchasing services through the ESC Region 11 bidding processes. 
7.D. Consider Approval of ESC Region 11 Support Services Contracts for 2020-2021.  These contracts include Comprehensive Services, Instructional Services, Library Services, PEIMS and Technology Services.
7.E. Consider Approval of Canine Team Contract with Interquest Detection Canines for 2020-2021: The district will continue to use Interquest Detection Canines for contraband detection.  The contract covers nineteen half day visits to the district.  The cost last year was $270.00 per visit. The cost for the 2020-21 school year is $280.00 per visit.

8.A.1. Consider Approval of New Hire Contract Recommendations:  There is one contract recommendation for this meeting as of April 24, 2020.
8.A.2. Consider Approval of Professional Contract Renewals:  The Superintendent of Schools will present recommendations to the Board of Education for renewals of professional employee contracts.
8.A.3. Consider Approval of Teacher Contract Renewals:  The Superintendent of Schools will present recommendations to the Board of Education for renewals of teacher employee contracts.
8.A.4. Consider Approval of Probationary Contract Termination: The Superintendent of Schools will present recommendation to the Board of Education to terminate two Probationary teacher contracts in the best interest of the district as recommended by the Superintendent.
8.B. Consider All Matters related to Teaching, Learning, and Innovation, including, but not limited to reports, finances, and/or proposals.
8.B.1. Consider Approval of Sale of Retired District Technology Items:  The Technology Operations department is seeking approval to dispose of retired technology equipment via online auction or direct sale. Methods of online auction would include Lone Star Auctioneers and eBay.
8.B.2. Approval of the Instructional Materials Proclamation 2020 regarding course lists for which materials are being adopted, and the publishers considered for the 2020-2021 school year. 
8.C. Consider All Matters related to Financial, including but not limited to reports, finances, and/or proposals.
8.C.1. Consider Approval of the Budget Amendment: This amendment displays any necessary budget amendments that should be made due to spending patterns. By law, the District may not exceed the budget amount within “Function” code without prior approval of the Board. The proposed budget amendments in Fund 199, 240 and 599 are balanced amendments. The budget amendment is needed to balance functions within the funds for the end of the fiscal year.
8.C.2. Consider Approval of the 2020-2021 Employee Compensation Plan: The 2020-2021 Compensation Plan includes a proposed increase for each pay grade and teacher hiring schedule.  A list of pay grades, the teacher hiring schedule and schedules for stipend and supplemental pay are attached for review. 
8.C.3. Consider Approval of the sale of 4 portable buildings that are located at IMMS. Financial Services advertised RFP# 20-004 for the sale of 4 portable buildings that are located at IMMS. The bids were opened on April 27, 2020 at 2:00 pm.

8.D.1. Consider Approval of WRA for the design and engineering services for IMMS roof replacement in the amount of $76,725.00.  WRA will provide design and engineering services for the roof replacement at Irma Marsh Middle School.

9.A.1. Financial Services Executive Director Report:
9.A.1.a. Investment Report for the quarter ending March 31, 2020: This report shows District investments by fund for the quarter ending March 31, 2020.
9.A.1.b. Board Budget Report as of March 31, 2020: This report shows Revenue and Expenditures by Fund and Function.
9.A.1.c. Tarrant County Tax Collection Reports for March 31, 2020: This report reflects the amount of current and delinquent taxes, penalties and interest collected for the month and year to date.
9.A.2. The Special Education Department received gift card/coupon and merchandise donations from three local businesses or individuals in March. These donations will be used for various training's and support for the teachers throughout the year. Appreciation letters were mailed to various businesses and individuals expressing the department’s appreciation. A list of donations is attached for your information. 
9.A.3. CISD has received a grant in the amount of $10,000 from GENYOUth Foundation to help with the cost of feeding our students during COVID19.
