All Board Meetings are open to the public and a 30-minute Open Forum is allowed to hear persons who wish to address the Board for each agenda item. Anyone wishing to address the Board in Open Forum should sign in prior to the beginning of the meeting. Time will be divided equally for each individual wishing to address the Board. No presentation shall exceed five (5) minutes. The Board will respond to “Specific factual information or recitation of existing policy may be furnished in response to inquiries, but the Board shall not deliberate or decide regarding any subject that is not included on the agenda posted with notice of the meeting.”  No concerns or charges regarding a District employee may be made during this session.

5.D. Consideration and Possible Approval of the Final Ranking of Design Build Firms for the Red Building Construction Project and Authorization of the Superintendent to Negotiate Terms and Conditions with the Highest Ranked Firm. If the Superintendent is unable to negotiate terms and conditions with the highest ranked firm, negotiations shall be terminated and the Superintendent will initiate negotiations with the next highest ranked firm.
5.E. Discuss and Consider the Possible Approval of Increasing the Spending Authority of the Superintendent to $50,000 on construction projects.
