Description:
After Superintendent Jeff Elstad announced his retirement as of June 30, 2025, the Board began the process of a superintendent search. The Superintendent position was posted internally on February 6 and then opened to external candidates on February 11. The posting closed on February 28, 2025. Members of the Board reviewed the applications the week of March 3. On March 10, they discussed the candidates to interview. The School Board selected five semi-finalist candidates and interviewed four of them on March 14, 17, and 18 (one candidate withdrew). Two finalists were interviewed on March 20 and 25.
