1.A. Announcement by the chairman whether a quorum is present, that the meeting has been duly called, and that notice of the meeting has been posted in the time and manner required by law.

1.C. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flags of the United States of America and the State of Texas

2. Accelerated Instruction:TEC §29.081 as amended by HB 5 requires that each school district evaluate the effectiveness of accelerated instruction programs for high school students and to hold an annual public hearing to consider the results of the evaluation.
|
|
3. Targeted Improvement Plans:TEC §39.054 requires that each targeted improvement plan be submitted to the Board and shall conduct a public hearing notifying the public of the insufficient performance, the improvements in performance expected by the agency, and the intervention measures or sanctions that may be imposed if the performance does not improve within a designated period.
