I.B. Establish a Quorum: meeting had been duly called and that the notice of the meeting had been posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter 551.

II. PUBLIC FORUM

II.A. Public participation is limited to the designated open forum for a meeting per board policy BED(LOCAL)
A board shall allow each member of the public who desires to address the board regarding an item on an agenda for an open meeting of the board to address the board regarding the item at the meeting before or during the board's consideration of the item.

III. EXECUTIVE SESSION: Executive Session will be held for the purpose of consideration of matters for which closed or executive sessions are authorized by Title 5, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, Section (.071), (.074)

III.A. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071, to consult with the District’s attorney, in person or by phone, on a matter in which the duty of the Attorney to the District, under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, including to receive legal advice regarding the grievance process.
 

III.B. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.074, to conduct a Level III Grievance Hearing regarding a personnel matter involving a complaint or charge against an officer or employee of the School District.

IV. RECONVENE FROM EXECUTIVE SESSION FOR ACTION RELATIVE TO ITEMS COVERED DURING EXECUTIVE SESSION.
