Description:
The Holbrook School District is requesting Governing Board approval of the Open Enrollment Insurance Program for SY 26-27. The Open Enrollment plan outlines insurance options and the implementation of an Employee Wellness Plan as outlined in the back-up materials.

Description:
The Holbrook School District is requesting approval of a one-time longevity stipend for food service staff at .10 cents per hour for all positions at 19.5 hours or more. These positions are hard to fill at this time and longevity in food service is an ongoing problem filling positions. Funding will be specific to the food service budget.

Description:
The Holbrook School District is requesting Governing Board approval of the SY 26-27 Classified Staff Notice of Appointment renewals, including a 3.5% hourly increase to the current hourly rate. Minimum wage increases were given in January; therefore, staff on minimum wage will not be given an increase.

Description:
The Holbrook School District is requesting Governing Board approval of a revised Clinical Services Salary Schedule used for the placement of Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Psychologists and School Nurses for SY 26-27. The salary placement schedule is included in the back-up materials.

Description:
Governing Board Policy JFB Open Enrollment requires the district to post open enrollment capacities on the district website on an annual basis. HUSD #3 is requesting Governing Board approval of the open enrollment administrative procedure that outlines guidelines for accepting both resident and non-resident students based on open enrollment capacities. The administrative procedure is included in the back-up materials.

Description:
The Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between NAVIT and the Holbrook Unified School District requires annual approval by the Holbrook Governing Board. The IGA outlines HUSD #3's agreement with NAVIT in relationship to the programs and courses taught at Holbrook High School. The IGA has been reviewed by legal counsel.
Recommendation: Discussion and consideration to approve the 2026-2027 Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with NAVIT as presented. |

IX.G. Northland Pioneer College (NPC) Dual Enrollment/TALON Intergovernmental Agreement - Dr. Koerperich

Description:
The Holbrook School District is seeking Governing Board approval of the 2024-2027 Dual Enrollment Intergovernmental Agreement with Northland Pioneer College (NPC) with updated coursework, fees and staff for the 2026-2027 school year. This has been a very successful partnership for high school students for several years, allowing students to earn college credits while in high school. We are requesting approval to continue this agreement for the 2026-2027 academic year. The IGA is included in the back-up materials.
Recommendation: Discussion and consideration to approve the Dual Enrollment/TALON Agreement with Northland Pioneer College for the 2026-2027 academic year. |

Description:
The ACE Development Group is requesting to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Holbrook School District to provide funding for a partnership between AES, a subsidiary of the ACE Corporation, and the Holbrook School District. The MOU outlines funding for Energizing Roadrunner initiatives, STEM supplies and community event funding. The MOU is included in the back-up materials.

IX.I. Educational Services Incorporated Contract - Dr. Koerperich

Description:
Annually, the Holbrook School District enters into an agreement for employment staffing services with Educational Services Incorporated (ESI). ESI specializes in providing temporary and long-term contract employees in schools. The agreement allows HUSD #3 to retain highly qualified retired staff; as well as, substitute teachers benefiting both the District and the employees. Employees are hired through ESI as per our Post Retirement Employment Option Plan and as a third-party employment agency. All associated rates will remain the same for next school year.
Recommendation: Discussion and consideration to approve the renewal of the Client Service Agreement with Educational Services Incorporated for the 2026-2027 school year. |

The Vince and Libby Budenholzer Family have generously donated $200 for each teacher recognized as Teacher of the Year at HUSD #3.
