5.A. Texas School Safety Center (TxSSC) District Facility Safety and Security Audit — Divide ISD, 2026 The Superintendent will present the results of the TxSSC District Facility Safety and Security Audit conducted at Divide ISD, 120 Divide School Road, Mountain Home, Texas, on March 9–13, 2026, by audit team members Bryan D. Proctor and Donnie L. Camp. The audit, conducted pursuant to Texas Education Code §37.108(b), assessed all required areas including administration policies and procedures, building exterior and interior, mandate checklist compliance, visitor management, monitoring and surveillance, school climate, and staff and student safety surveys. The Superintendent will summarize audit findings and next steps. |

Notice of Candidate Filing Deadline — November 4, 2026 Uniform Election For informational purposes, the Board of Trustees is advised that pursuant to Texas Election Code, Divide ISD is required to post notice of the candidate filing deadline for the November 4, 2026 Uniform Election. The deadline to post this notice is Thursday, June 18, 2026. This is an administrative function and no board action is required. The public is hereby notified that the Board intends to consider this item at the meeting. |
