Description:
Items appearing on the Consent Agenda are routine in nature and may be dealt with using a single motion, second and affirmative vote. Description:
May 5, 2018 is election day. Three, 3 year terms on the School Board are up for election, they are currently held by Angie McAfee, George Strub, and Kathryn Vine.

10)c. Designate Early, Regular, and Temporary Voting Places
Description:
Polling sites need to be set. Early voting will be Monday, April 23-Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at City Hall in Big Sandy. Election day is Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 7:00-7:00 at Big Sandy City Hall. No temporary sites are needed.

10)d. Appoint Election Judge, Early Voting Clerks and Early Voting Ballot Board
Description:
Mary Troboy and Karen Weese will be early voting clerks, getting things ready for elections and mailing out ballots to those requesting to vote by mail, the mailing address is PO Box 598, Big Sandy, Texas 75755. The City of Big Sandy will appoint the judges and clerks to who will work early voting. It has not been decided yet on who will appoint election day judges and clerks.

Description:
Early voting and election day will be at Big Sandy City Hall.  At this time we do not have a joint elections agreement to approve.  My recommendation is to allow the superintendent to approve such an agreement with the City of Big Sandy if needed.

Description:
At this time we do not have an agreement for renting equipment.  My recommendation is for the board to designate the superintendent to enter into an agreement for the rental equipment.
