4.E. Truth in Taxation Notification

The Business Administrator/Budget Officer of Juab County School District intends to state the following:

  • Juab County School District is considering a tax rate that exceeds the certified rate.

  • The approximate dollar amount of the increase is $1,100,000, to be used for the improvements, remodeling, and expansion of the Career and Technology Education (CTE) Building at Juab High School. 

  • The approximate percentage increase in ad valorem tax revenue that is based on the proposed tax rate increase is 14.76%.

  • Juab County School District shall provide notice of and conduct a public hearing as required where members of the public have an opportunity to comment on the proposed increase.
