14.A. Appoint Township Manager Scott Russell as the Chief Administrative Officer of the Township's Pension Plan. (Action item)
14.B. Parks & Recreation Director, Don Holmes, recently earned the Certified Parks & Recreation Professional (CPRP) Certification through the National Recreation & Parks Association (NRPA). The CPRP designation is considered the ‘Gold Standard’ for Parks & Recreation practitioners. CPRPs sit for a 150-question proctored exam to prove proficiency in five core competencies in Parks & Recreation Management: Communications, Human Resources, Operations, Finance, & Programming. While there are over 320,000 people employed as Parks & Recreation practitioners in the United Sates, only approx. 6,500 have earned the CPRP designation.
