Mr. George and Dr. Burns discussed the possibility of holding graduation on Thursday, May 13, 2027. Dr. Burns also reported Lifewise Academy will be starting at Redwater High School. They held an informational meeting on September 14, 2026, and will begin on September 28, 2026.

Texarkana Gameday will partner with Dragon TV to feature our live sports broadcasts on their online platforms beginning September 18, 2026. Texarkana Gazette published an article featuring our football program. In addition, the West Bowie Post published two stories from our district. Greg Frachiseur's quick reflexes and lifesaving measure on our afternoon bus route made the front page. Our art department was also featured for winning the TAEA District of Distinction for the seventh year in a row.
