14.a. Fresh Submarine Sandwiches, District-wide Lunch Program
Administration went through an extensive competitive bid process to obtain pricing for freshly-made submarine sandwiches for the District-wide lunch program. The request for bids went out to a variety of viable vendors and the responding vendors were subject to a blind taste testing process to ensure consistency, quality, and taste. Administration recommends awarding the bid to Tubby's for an initial three-year contract, with the option to extend twice for additional one-year periods at the District's discretion. |
|
15. AGREEMENT AMENDMENT - MOVE MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR 2024 BOND PROGRAM
Administration recommends to continue to use Plante Moran Realpointe to coordinate additional move management services in 2027 related to the new Wixom Elementary School in an amount not to exceed $50,000.00 for the 2024 Bond Program, for the scope of additional services, as presented. |

16. RESOLUTION: MHSAA COOPERATIVE TEAM APPLICATION - COMPETITIVE CHEER
Over the past several years, participation in the Walled Lake Central High School competitive cheer program has steadily declined. To ensure that all interested students in our District have the opportunity to train, compete, and represent Walled Lake Schools, we recommend the approval of a cooperative competitive cheer team combining athletes from Walled Lake Central and Walled Lake Northern High Schools. This cooperative model will maximize student participation opportunities, support the continuation of the program, and align with the structure of other existing cooperative athletic teams in the District. Administration recommends the Board approve the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) Cooperative Team Application. |
