Thank you for being at the Santiam Canyon School District 129J board meeting tonight. Hearing from our families and community is important to us. During this section, the board’s role is to listen. While we may ask clarifying questions from time to time, we will not be engaging in dialogue with people making comments. When follow-up is warranted, that will usually be done through our superintendent. In accordance with policy BDDH, speakers may offer objective criticism of district operations and programs, but the board will not hear comments regarding any individual district staff member. Those comments can be submitted to the district in accordance with district policy. The board requests commenters be respectful and to please keep all comments to 3 minutes per person.
