The Governor has declared January 2025 as School Board Member Appreciation Month. We are fortunate in East China to have such a dedicated group of individuals to serve as board members in our district. Board members serve without compensation and that is true dedication. On behalf of the staff, students, and community, thank you to each board member for their service to our community. 10. Recognition of Persons Wishing to Address the Board
Description:
This portion of the agenda is for citizens to address any questions or comments to the Board. The Board will listen, take comments and questions under advisement, and not respond at this time. The presiding officer will refer questions to the superintendent for research and response.

Description:
Recommended Action: That the Board of Education goes into Closed Session pursuant to section 8(1)(e) of the Open Meetings Act (Act 267 of 1976) Board discussion to consult with its attorney regarding trial or settlement strategy in connection with specific pending litigation, but only if an open meeting would have a detrimental financial effect on the litigation or settlement position of the public body.
