The net cost to the district after grants and tax credits is roughly $95,000 per bus, which is $15,000 less than the price of a diesel bus and $20,000 less than what was budgeted. Roughly $160,000 will remain from the grant to spend on charging hardware/installation and an additional $120,000 will remain from the budgeted cost share.
