NEW MIDDLE SCHOOL
Description:
The purpose of this agenda item is to provide an update on the schedule and finances for the Middle School project. An updated financial report related to contingency funds and change orders has been attached. Administration will review the updates to this months report.
Please also read the following note regarding a 2nd batting cage: Addition from Coach Zadra. "The boys golf program would definitely benefit from the addition of two batting/hitting cages in the new middle school. With boys golf starting at the end of March, weather is usually not our friend with golf courses closed and limited indoor facilities available to handle our team of 70-80 players. To have another option available at the new middle school would not only be beneficial during the boys golf season when inclement weather either moves us inside or cancels practice, it would also be beneficial for players to use during the off season to improve their golf swing. We can use our golf launch monitor in the hitting cages to provide detailed information on club head speed, ball spin and launch angle on a player’s golf swing. This would be a great addition for the boys golf program."

VI. APPROVAL OF CAPITAL MAINTENANCE REQUESTS
Description:
The purpose of this agenda item is to review our standard agenda item for district-wide capital maintenance requests. Attached please find the capital maintenance tracking spreadsheet for January. Administration will again review the changes that took place to the maintenance tracking spreadsheet to account for the potential summer 2026 high school campus work.
Also attached please find capital maintenance requests for January. Administration will be seeking feedback on the dollar amount of requests that the committee would prefer to see for the summer of 2026.

VII.A. LONG-TERM PLAN
Description:
The purpose of this agenda item is to review the long-term high school planning process. Attached please find a financial analysis related to a potential November 2026 referendum. The financial analysis assumes the school board would utilize the middle school clean energy rebate to manage the property levy from a November 2026 referendum. Administration will provide an update and will request feedback from the committee.
