5.A. Consider Approval of Competitive Sealed Proposals (CSP) as the Delivery/Contract Award Method for Construction of the Null Middle School Expansion Project
Description:  It is the recommendation that the Board of Trustees selects the project delivery/contract award method of Competitive Sealed Proposals as the method that provides the best value to the District for the construction of the Null Middle School Expansion project.
Furthermore, it is recommended that the Board of Trustees authorize the superintendent or designee to issue a Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals for the project and receive proposals electronically.
5.B. Consideration of Prevailing Wage Rates
Description:  It is recommended that the Board of Trustees consider approval of the resolution adopting prevailing wage rates for use on Sheldon ISD facilities projects as presented with a copy to be attached and become part of the minutes.
5.C. Consider Security Camera Servers and Storage Array Upgrades
Description:  It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the proposal submitted for the camera servers and storage array upgrades as presented by Dell at a price of $126,023.65 with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes.
5.D. Consider Purchase of HPE SimpliVity Expansion Node
Description:  It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the proposal submitted for the purchase of an HPE SimpliVity node as presented by Datavox at a price of $63,373.72 with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes.
6. Comments From The Public-Under the Open Records Act, the Board cannot respond to items or comments that are not covered on the agenda; therefore, a Board response will not be made tonight.
7. Adjournment to closed session pursuant to Texas Government Code Section: 5551.071 to obtain legal advice regarding procurement and contracting, 551.072 to discuss the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property, 551.074 to discuss and consider termination of probationary contracts of Brandon Avants, Matthew Forney, and Nichole Howard and for the purpose of considering the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer, employee, or to hear complaints or charges against a public officer or employee and 551.076 for considering the deployment, specific occasions for, or implementation of, security personnel or devices.

Description:  It is recommended that the contract recommendations for the 2022-2023 school year be approved as submitted with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes.
10.B. Contract Recommendations - Chapter 21
Description:  It is recommended the the Board of Trustees approve the Chapter 21 Contract personnel with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes.
10.C. End of Year Termination of Probationary Contract, Brandon Avants
Description:  Based on Texas Education Code 21.103, it is recommended that the Board of Trustees find it is in the best interest of the district to terminate the probationary contract of Brandon Avants at the end of the contract term and authorize the Superintendent to give the required notice.
10.D. End of Year Termination of Probationary Contract , Matthew Forney
Description:  Based on Texas Education Code 21.103, it is recommended that the Board of Trustees find it is in the best interest of the district to terminate the probationary contract of Matthew Forney at the end of the contract term and authorize the Superintendent to give the required notice.
10.E. End of Year Termination of Probationary Contract, Nichole Howard
Description:  Based on Texas Education Code 21.103, it is recommended that the Board of Trustees find it is in the best interest of the district to terminate the probationary contract of Nichole Howard at the end of the contract term and authorize the Superintendent to give the required notice.
