I. Roll Call, Opening Comments.

II. Executive session to discuss the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity. [5 ILCS120/2(c)(1)]

IV. Public Participation:  The Public Participation portion of the Board Meeting will be limited to 30 minutes.  At meetings when multiple people have signed up to address the Board of Education, the Board will shorten the amount of time for each speaker to give more individuals the opportunity to speak.  When multiple people wish to address the Board on the same subject, the group is encouraged to appoint a spokesperson.  In the event that there is not enough time for everyone who wishes to speak, individuals are encouraged to submit their comments to the Board of Education in writing.  All guests in attendance are expected to behave with respect and civility toward all in attendance.

V.A. Consideration to approve the minutes of the October 16, 2023 regular board meeting.

V.C. Consideration to award the following cafeteria bid according to the bid specifications, lowest bidder, and in the best interest of the school district: conveyor type dishwasher, including pant leg vent duct, water softening system, and installation at Gardner Elementary School to Ford Hotel Supply Co., 2204 N. Broadway, St. Louis, MO 63102, in the amount of $45,887.00.

V.D. Consideration to employ Katherine Braun as a full-time custodian, for the 2023-2024 school year, effective November 21, 2023.

V.E. Consideration to employ Whitney Stitzel as a full-time custodian, for the 2023-2024 school year, effective November 21, 2023, contingent upon the results of a background check and TB test.

V.F. Consideration to employ Leah Walter as a full-time special education paraprofessional, for the 2023-2024 school year, effective November 15, 2023.

V.G. Consideration to employ Lisa Naumann as a full-time special education paraprofessional, for the 2023-2024 school year, effective January 3, 2024, contingent upon the results of a background check and TB test.

V.H. Consideration to employ Linda Wagner as a part-time cafeteria worker, for the 2023-2024 school year, effective January 3, 2024.

V.I. Consideration to employ Sonja Garza as a part-time cafeteria worker, for the 2023-2024 school year, effective January 3, 2024, contingent upon the results of a background check and TB test.
