VII.M.  Approve Document 5-1-22: Reasonable Assurance for Substitutes and Part-Time Employees for the 2022-2023 School Year
Description:  It is my recommendation that you approve Document 5-1-22: Reasonable Assurance for Substitutes and Part-Time Employees for the 2022-2023 School Year.  This is to notify substitute teachers and substitute support staff members of our reasonable assurance that their positions will be available to them for the 2022-2023 school year.  This includes substitute teachers, cafeteria workers, custodians, clerical workers and library aides.
 
VII.N. Approve Participation and Expenses to Attend ESIC Meetings and Conferences, July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023
Description:  It is my recommendation that you approve the participation and expenses for Dr. Swick and Mr. Feeney to attend all ESIC Meetings and Conferences, whether in-state or out-of-state, between July 1, 2022 and June 30, 2023.
 
VII.O. Approve Participation and Expenses to Attend NAFIS and FLISA (7002) Meetings and Conferences, July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023
Description:  It is my recommendation that you approve the participation and expenses for Dr. Swick and Mr. Feeney to attend NAFIS and FLISA (7002) Meetings and Conferences, whether in-state or out-of-state, between July 1, 2022 and June 30, 2023.
 
VII.P. Approve Participation and Expenses to Attend IASA Meetings and Conferences, July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023
Description:  It is my recommendation that you approve the participation and expenses for Dr. Swick and Mr. Feeney to attend the IASA meetings and conferences, whether in-state or out-of-state, between July 1, 2022 and June 30, 2023.

Description:  Dr. Swick supports Mr. Maupin's recommendation to accept the letter of resignation from the WHS Girls' Physical Education teacher.
VIII.B.1.b. One Assistant Director of Facilities and Maintenance
Description:  Dr. Swick supports the letter of resignation submitted by the Assistant Director of Facilities and Maintenance, effective on May 6, 2022.

VIII.B.4.a. One RTI Coordinator/Academic Coach
Description:  Dr. Swick supports Mrs. Dennis’s recommendation to reassign a 3rd grade teacher at Steven’s Intermediate school to the position of RTI Coordinator/ Academic Coach for the 2022-2023 school year. Employment is pending compliance with all federal, state, and local guidelines.
 
VIII.B.4.b. One Third Grade Teacher
Description:  Dr. Swick supports Mrs. Dennis's recommendation to reassign a current SIS 4th grade teacher to fill a 3rd grade teaching vacancy for the 2022-2023 school year.  Employment is pending compliance with all federal, state and local guidelines.
VIII.B.5. Recommendations for Employment
VIII.B.5.a. WMS Summer Volunteer Coaching Staff
Description:  Dr. Swick supports Adam Spicer’s recommendation to employ personnel as Volunteer WMS Coaches during the Summer of 2022, pending compliance with all federal, state, and local guidelines. No stipend will be paid by the District.
 
VIII.B.5.b. Ten WMS Baseball and Softball Coaches for the 2022-2023 School Year
Description:  Dr. Swick supports Mr. Spicer's recommendation to employ Wilmington Middle School Baseball and Softball coaches for the 2022-2023 school year. Stipends are set by the current Collective Bargaining Agreement, and employment is contingent on completion of all paperwork, and meeting all local, state and federal guidelines
VIII.B.5.c. WHS Summer Volunteer Coaching Staff
Description:  Dr. Swick supports Brian Goff’s recommendation to employ Volunteer WHS Summer 2022 Coaches. Employment is pending compliance with all federal, state and local guidelines. No stipend will be paid by the District. Please see attachment. 
VIII.B.5.d. Summer Driver's Education Instructors
Description:  Dr. Swick supports Mr. Maupin’s recommendation to hire  instructors for the Summer 2021 Drivers’ Education Program.
VIII.B.5.e. One Part-Time, Summer 2022, Technology Department Worker
Description:  Dr. Swick supports Mr. McCormick’s recommendation to employ one part-time, Summer 2022 Technology Department worker. She may work up to 25 hours per week. Employment is pending compliance with all federal, state, and local guidelines.
 
VIII.B.5.f. One WHS Industrial Arts/Drafting Teacher
Description:  Dr. Swick supports Mr. Maupin's recommendation to employ an Industrial Arts/Drafting teacher for the 2022-2023 school year.  Employment is pending compliance with all federal, state and local guidelines.
VIII.B.5.g. One WHS Varsity Volleyball Coach
Description:  Dr. Swick supports Mr. Maupin's recommendation to employ a WHS Varsity Volleyball coach for the 2022-2023 school year.  Employment is pending compliance with all federal, state and local guidelines.
VIII.C. Approve the Continued Participation in the Regional Safe Schools Program
Description:  It is my recommendation that you approve our continued participation in the Regional Safe Schools Program. The rate will be the same next year as it was this year:  $10/day for RSSP.
 
VIII.D. Approve the Participation and Expenses for Mr. Feeney and Dr. Swick to Attend NAFIS and FLISA (7002) Meetings and Conferences, whether in-state or out-of-state, July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023
