Description:  1. Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Requests: One FOIA request was received from Jonathan Fagg of WLS-TV, requesting access to and/or a copy of data on reconsideration forms or other forms that challenge library books.  Kevin Feeney responded via email letting Mr. Fagg know that the Wilmington School District has not received any challenge books or other resources.

    3. Fees will increase by $5.00 for the 2022-2023 school year, and we will enforce a late fee of $25.00 for those who do not pay their fees by the August 3, 2022 deadline.

VII.B.1.a. One 5-Hour, breakfast/lunch, cafeteria employee
Description:  It is Dr. Swick's recommendation that you approve the letter of resignation submitted by a WHS 5-Hour breakfast/lunch cafeteria employee, effective immediately.

VII.B.5.a. One Part-Time, Non-Union, Seasonal Groundskeeper
Description:  Dr. Swick supports Jim Habing’s recommendation to hire  a part-time, non-union, seasonal grounds keeper (Approximately mid-April to mid-October 2022), for a maximum of 580 hours total, with an hourly rate of $13.00.  Employment is pending compliance with all federal, state, and local guidelines.
 
VII.C. Approve Resolution No. 4-22: Authorizing Notice of Reasons and Dismissal of Educational Support Personnel to include Teacher Aides, and Pre-Kindergarten Parent Coordinators
Description:  It is Dr. Swick's recommendation that you approve Resolution No. 4-22: Authorizing Notice of Reasons and Dismissal of Educational Support Personnel to include Teacher Aides, and Pre-Kindergarten Parent Coordinators.
VII.D. Approve Document No. 3-1-22: Employment of Teachers in First Year of Probation, Second Year of Probation, Third Year of Probation, Fourth Year of Probation, and Tenure and Part-Time Teachers for the 2022-2023 school year.
Description:  Dr. Swick recommends that you approve Document No. 3-1-22: Employment of Teachers in First Year of Probation, Second Year of Probation, Third Year of Probation, Fourth Year of Probation, and Tenure and Part-time Teachers for the 2022-2023 school year.

VII.F. Approve Contract Renewal with Waste Management to provide Refuse-Recycling Disposal Services for the 2022-2023 School Year
Description:  It is my recommendation that you approve the contract renewal with Waste Management to provide Refuse-Recycling Disposal Services in the amount of $16,475.24 for the 2022-2023 school year.
 
VII.G. Approve Revised Wilmington District 209-U 2021-2022 School Calendar
Description:  It is my recommendation that you approve the revised Wilmington District 209-U 2021-2022 School Calendar, which will move the April 13th SIP day to April 20th due to the high school SAT testing day.
 
VII.H. Approve WHS Track Re-Striping Project
Description:  It is my recommendation that you approve a WHS Track re-striping project to be completed by Midwest Track Builders during the Summer of 2022, in the amount of $6,590.00.
 
VII.I. Approve WHS Track Resurfacing Project
Description:  It is my recommendation that you approve a WHS Track resurfacing project to be completed by Midwest Track Builders during the Summer of 2022, in the amount of $48,675.00.
 
VII.J. Approve WHS Track Asphalt Repair Project
Description:  It is my recommendation that you approve a WHS Track asphalt repair project to be completed by Midwest Track Builders during the Summer of 2022, in the amount of $10,732.00.
 
VII.K. Approve WHS Track Limestone Project
Description:  It is my recommendation that you approve a WHS Track limestone project to be completed by J. Lucas and Sons Paving, Inc. during the Summer of 2022, in the amount of $22,950.00.
 
VII.L. Approve Walsworth Yearbooks as the Wilmington High School yearbook publication company for the 2022-2023 school year
Description:  Dr. Swick supports Mr. Maupin's recommendation to  approve Walsworth Yearbooks as the Wilmington High School yearbook publication company for the 2022-2023 school year.
VII.M. Approve the Revised and Updated Return to In-Person Learning Plan
