I.F.2)a. SkillsUSA State Conference: Michael Reynolds, Career Preparation Center Principal, is requesting Board approval for a Student Services Coordinator/SkillsUSA Advisor to chaperone 12 students from the Eaton RESA SkillsUSA Chapter who are eligible to compete at the state conference in Grand Rapids, Michigan, from April 8-10, 2022.
I.F.2)b. Special Olympics USA Games: Ryan Harp, Assistant Superintendent for Special Education, is requesting Board approval for the Meadowview School Adaptive PE Teacher to attend the Special Olympics USA Games as a coach for the National Games in Orlando, Florida, from June 6-12, 2022. Costs are covered by Special Olympics.
I.F.3) Increase of 0.6 FTE Speech and Language Services: Ryan Harp, Assistant Superintendent for Special Education, is requesting that the Board approve an increase of 0.6 FTE speech and language pathology (SLP) services due to the increased need for these services in an amount not to exceed $79,542. The increase of 0.6 FTE is being requested by Grand Ledge Public Schools.
I.F.4) Conflict of Interest Request: Amy Lowrie is a Special Education Supervisor for Early On and Related Services, supervising the Speech-Language Pathologists in all five districts. She is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. She is requesting Board approval, as per Board Policy 1130, to continue working outside of her current administrator role and work schedule at Eaton RESA, as a Speech-Language Pathologist, subcontracting evaluation and treatment services through a local private practice, Tara Mahaney, LLC located in Delta Township. While the practice is within the Eaton RESA service area, she does not accept clients who are residents of Eaton County or enrolled in Eaton County School Districts. This subcontractor work would not exceed 40 hours per month, with compensation at $30 per half hour therapy session, $50 per one hour therapy session and $100 per evaluation. She is requesting to continue this arrangement for the remainder of 2022, beginning March 17, 2022 through December 31, 2022.
I.F.5) Relevant Academy Board Member Recommendations: Based on the recommendation of Jennifer Varney, Executive Director of Relevant Academy, the Eaton RESA Superintendent is requesting that the Board approve the renewal of Bob Wilson and Jessica McCuen, to serve another two-year term effective July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2024 and the appointment of Brian Barden, to serve a three-year term effective April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2025 to the Relevant Academy Board of Directors.

I.F.6) 2021-22 Budget Revisions: The Superintendent and the Executive Director of Finance & Operations are requesting that the Board approve the 2021-22 Budget Revisions that were presented as an information item at the February 16, 2022, Board meeting. Board approval is required for the General Fund, Special Education Fund, and the Career & Technical Education Fund.
