1. CALL SPECIAL SESSION TO ORDER

2. RECESS TO EXECUTIVE SESSION
Description:
The Board will recess into Executive Session under ORS 192.660 (2)(b) -Discipline of a Public Officer or Employee to hear a grievance filed by the North Santiam Education Association.

2.1. Grievance Hearing:
Description:
Information regarding the discipline of an employee has been privately posted for Board member review by the HR Department. The Association's case will be presented by Margaret Olney. The Board is being asked to uphold the decision or dismiss the action with regards to discipline of an employee.

3. RECESS TO SEPARATE EXECUTIVE SESSION
Description:
The Board has the prerogative of adjourning into a separate Executive Session to confer with counsel under ORS 192.660 (2)(h)-Legal Counsel prior to deliberations and making a decision.

4. ADJOURN EXECUTIVE SESSIONS & RETURN TO SPECIAL SESSION
Description:
Once deliberations are completed, the Board will move into open session to make a decision on the grievance. The Board does have the option to delay their decision for up to 15 days if more information or clarification is needed. In order for a motion to pass, a quorum of the Board (four members) must vote yes. Otherwise, the motion fails.
