1. Call to Order with the Pledge of Allegiance.
 
2. Roll Call.
 
3. Adopt Official Agenda giving the President discretion to take items out of order or in executive session as needed.
 
4. Approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held on March 9, 2020.
 
5. Consider approval of bills as presented in the amount of $278,173.48 be authorized; that salaries for the month of April 2020 be authorized; that quick pay for March 2020 in the amount of $828,434.86 be approved; and that May 2020 salaries and bills to be quick paid be authorized.
 
6. Requests signed by interested citizens who attend the Board of Education meeting who request to speak to the Board. 
 
7. Consent Agenda.  (Items 7-A through G - Personnel Committee Recommendations)
 
7.A. Accept the written resignation of Annaliese Berkenstock, teacher, effective at the close of the 2019-2020 school year.
 
7.B. Accept the written resignation of John Dozier, effective at the close of the 2024-2025 school year.  Mr. Dozier is requesting to retire under Article 50 - Early Retirement Incentive for Certified Staff Members Eligible for TRS, of the Cahokia Federation of Teachers contract.  Mr. Dozier would also like to reserve the right to apply for any additional state retirement incentives that may become available before his retirement date.
 
7.C. Rescind the offer made to Brittany Turner as a social worker effective Wednesday, February 11, 2020.
 
7.D. Approve Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) leave for Marla Wallace, teacher, for Friday, March 20, 2020.  Ms. Wallace will be docked for this leave. 
 
7.E. Create an Admissions Officer position.
 
7.F. Create a CTE Coordinator position.
 
7.G. Create two Curriculum Clerk positions.
 
7.H. Accept the written resignation of Julie DeMott, teacher, effective at the close of the 2019-2020 school year.
 
7.I. Approve pay adjustment for David Augustine, Director of Maintenance, to correct step level.
 
7.J. Approve pay adjustment for Steve Crum, Director of Custodians, Warehouse & Deliveries, to correct step level.
 
7.K. Authorize administration to award bid to the lowest responsible bidder for kitchen equipment and installation at Cahokia High School to Edward Don & Co. in the amount of $98,282.47.
 
7.L. Authorize administration to award bid to the lowest responsible bidder for kitchen equipment and installation at Wirth Middle School/Oliver Parks to Edward Don & Co. in the amount of $100,054.87.
 
7.M. Authorize administration to award bid to the lowest responsible bidder for kitchen equipment and installation at Huffman School to Edward Don & Co. in the amount of $20,214.43.
 
7.N. Authorize administration to award bid to the lowest responsible bidder for kitchen equipment and installation at Elizabeth Morris School to Edward Don & Co. in the amount of $19,522.61.
 
7.O. Authorize administration to award bid to the lowest responsible bidder for kitchen equipment and installation at CHS Munch & Mingle to Edward Don & Co. in the amount of $79,644.80.
 
7.P. Adopt the district calendar for the 2020-2021 school year.  First day for students is Monday, August 17, 2020.
 
7.Q. Approve Alternative Ed. Center Safe School Program Agreement with the St. Clair County Regional Office of Education for the 2020-2021 school year.
 
7.R. Approve the engagement of Scheffel Boyle to perform an audit for the Cahokia School District for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020.

Consider motion to suspend compliance with Cahokia Unit School District No. 187 policies for the duration of the COVID-19 Pandemic that conflict with any law, administrative order, and/or executive order issued by any applicable Local, State, and/or Federal authorities, and to direct Cahokia Unit School District No. 187 administration to comply with any law, administrative order, and/or executive order issued by any applicable Local, State, and/or Federal authorities.
