4. Approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held on February 10, 2020.
 
5. Consider approval of bills as presented in the amount of $995,115.48 be authorized; that salaries for the month of March 2020 be authorized; that quick pay for February 2020 in the amount of $311,577.88 be approved; and that April 2020 salaries and bills to be quick paid be authorized.

Approve Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) leave for Rolando Johnson, custodian, effective Wednesday, February 12, 2020, through Thursday, May 7, 2020.  Mr. Johnson will be using his sick, personal and vacation leave and will be docked for the remainder of this leave.  Termination may be adjusted depending on his doctor's instructions.
 
8.H. Employ Rebecca Jones-Scales as a secretary, effective Tuesday, February 18, 2020, pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements.
 
8.I. Employ Renaldo Luster as a substitute custodian, effective Friday, February 14, 2020.  Pre-employment requirements have been met.
 
8.J. Employ Geralyn Mossey as the Secretary to the Director of Special Education, effective Monday, February 24, 2020.  Pre-employment requirements have been met.
 
8.K. Employ Don Spencer as a security officer, effective Tuesday, February 11, 2020, pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements.
 
8.L. Approve Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) leave for Bernadette Wiggins, truancy supervisor, effective Tuesday, April 14, 2020, through Monday, July 6, 2020.  Ms. Wiggins will be using her sick, personal and vacation leave, and will be docked for the remainder of this leave.  Termination may be adjusted depending on her doctor's instructions.
 
8.M. Adopt Resolution #20-10 authorizing the non-renewal of a certified teacher, effective at the close of the 2019-2020 school year.
 
8.N. Adopt Resolution #20-11 authorizing the non-renewal of a certified teacher, effective at the close of the 2019-2020 school year.
 
8.O. Adopt Resolution #20-12 authorizing the non-renewal of a certified teacher, effective at the close of the 2019-20 school year.
 
8.P. Adopt Resolution #20-13 authorizing the non-renewal of a certified teacher, effective at the close of the 2019-20 school year.
 
8.Q. Amend previous decision made at the February 10, 2020 Board Meeting to create two Instructional Support Specialist positions and rename as Curriculum Specialists.

8.S. Accept the written resignation of Ann Rene' Cox, teacher, effective at the close of the 2024-2025 school year.  Mrs. Cox is requesting to retire under Article 50 - Early Retirement Incentive for Certified Staff Members Eligible for TRS, of the Cahokia Federation of Teachers contract.  Mrs. Cox would also like to reserve the right to apply for any additional state retirement incentives that may become available before her retirement date.
 
8.T. Cancel payroll facilitation of the AmeriCorp stipend for Maraya Harris, effective Tuesday, March 3, 2020.
 
8.U. Approve Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) leave for Valeska Hill, principal, effective Tuesday, February 18, 2020, through Tuesday, May 12, 2020.  Mrs. Hill will be using her accumulated sick and personal leave days in conjunction with her FMLA leave.  Commencement or termination of this leave may be adjusted.
 
8.V. Approve Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) leave for Cynthia Langston, principal, effective Monday, May 11, 2020, through Friday, September 18, 2020.  Mrs. Langston will be using her accumulated sick and personal leave days in conjunction with her FMLA leave.  Commencement or termination of this leave may be adjusted.
 
8.W. Employ Gerold Nave as an administrator for the 2020-2021 school year.
 
8.X. Accept the written resignation of Gloria Perry, 6th Grade Principal, effective Tuesday, June 30, 2020.

8.AH. Adopt Resolution #20-14 authorizing the Superintendent to enter into an agreement with Touchette Regional Hospital for workplace drug testing.
 
8.AI. Adopt Resolution #20-15 authorizing the Superintendent to enter into an agreement with Output Unlimited for an audio system at the football field of Cahokia High School, pending legal review.

Consider accepting the hearing officer's recommendation from the discipline hearing held on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, to expel an eleventh grade Cahokia High School student for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year; however, the expulsion will be stayed if the student enrolls and successfully completes the ROE Safe School Program.
