4.e.I. Urban Superintendents Summer Academy on July 12 - 17, 2016, in Annapolis, MD for Dr. Joseph F. Bailey. The cost to the District is a $425 registration fee and ground transportation.

4.f. APPROVAL of HVAC BID
|
4.f.I. This bid was presented to and supported by the Facilities Committee on March 22, 2016. This building project will involve the repair of major HVAC equipment that was damaged as a result of a major hail storm in July 2015. The bid is being awarded to Core Mechanical Inc. with a base bid of $71,535 and Alternate 1 for hail guards in the amount of $7,295. The total award to Core Mechanical is $78,830.

4.g. APPROVAL OF LANDSCAPING BID

4.g.I. This bid was presented to and supported by the Facilities Committee on March 22, 2016. The successful bidder was Contour Landscaping Inc., for landscaping work to be completed from April 1, 2016 to December 1, 2017, with an annual cost of $46,445.

4.h. APPROVAL OF CONSULTANT SERVICES ASSOCIATED WITH LINCOLN HALL RENOVATION PROJECT - PHASE I

4.h.I. It is not unusual nor a surprise during any renovation project, to find small amounts of asbestos materials. Such is the case at Lincoln Hall. For compliance purposes the administration recommends that the Board of Education secure the services of a consultant to complete an abatement project at Lincoln Hall. This is an agreement with United Analytical Services, Inc. to provide professional services relative to the removal of asbestos containing materials associated with the Lincoln Hall renovation project - Phase I, in the amount of $12,455.

Rationale: As part of the regular meeting, the Board of Education routinely approves minutes, personnel items, Board policies, and routine business matters. PUBLIC HEARING OPEN PUBLIC HEARING Recommended Motion: I move that the Lincolnwood School District 74 Board of Education open the public hearing regarding a resolution authorizing the interfund transfer of $3,100,000 from the Education Fund to the Operations & Maintenance Fund, and the resolution authorizing accounting transfer(s) to the Capital Project Fund to implement state regulations, as presented and as recommended by the Finance Committee.
