4. Hearing of Citizens
Description:  Note: All public bodies, during the course of a business meeting, must provide an opportunity for public comment.  Board members may limit the public comments to items listed on the agenda (not usually necessary) and a certain amount of time for each individual comment (generally only important when there is a highly controversial issue and high public demand to make a comment before the Board).  The public comment portion of the agenda is generally NOT a time for the Board to interact with the public or to respond to the comments made by any member of the public.  It is a time to allow comments to be heard by the Board.  If a member of the public wishes to make inflammatory comments regarding an employee of the District, the Board should request that such communication take place in Closed Session to protect the privacy rights of staff.

Description:  This is the opportunity for the Board to let Administration know any specific topics they would like to have presented next month.

7.j. Adjustment of TA salaries and benefits and benefits for non-certified staff beginning 2021-2022
Description:  To approve:

2021-2022 starting salary of $17.50 per hour to be adjusted annually in the same percentage as TA salaries. (This may also require a one-time adjustment of returning TA salaries as in the past).

50% contribution to family health insurance if elected for TAs and other non-certified employees.

Up to $1000 tuition reimbursement per year with the same restrictions as teachers. 
7.k. Adjustment of Substitute Pay
Description:  To adjust substitute salary 12/16/2021 (next pay period) as follows:

$140 per day for days 1-10 that a sub works in Bannockburn.

$170 per day each day over 10
7.l. Employment of Certified Staff for 2022-23 school year.
Description:  Employment of Megan Rice for the 2022-2023 school year.
