Description:
Evaluating and Improving Student OutcomesSB 1566 requires that all school board members to be trained in Evaluating and Improving Student Outcomes. This workshop will provide a look at how the school board, progress monitoring, accountability, and implementation make a difference in student outcomes. This is a three-hour training; however, if All school board members and the superintendent of a district attend and work together throughout the training, dual credit for SB 1566 and Team of Eight training may be awarded. |

9.E. Consideration and action on a resolution to adopt a Joint Election and Election Services Agreement with the Armstrong County, Texas regarding the conduct of the District's Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election to be held on November 5, 2024.

Consider and take action to adopt a Resolution to Approve an Engagement Letter with Leon Alcala, PLLC to Serve as Bond Counsel, a law firm with substantial experience serving as bond counsel; finding that such services are specialized and cannot be adequately performed by District personnel or other counsel and that a contingency fee contract is in the best interest of the District because no amount will be paid unless a transaction is completed.
