10. Consider Attendance Waiver for December 9th, 2013

10.A. On 12-9-13 Claude ISD had an Average Daily Attendance of 83.31%. The Board gives the Superintendent the consent to file for "A Low Attendance Waiver" with TEA. Due to the previous school year (2012-2013) our Average Daily Attendance was 96.3%

11. Consider Dual Credit House Bill 5 Waiver for the 2013-14 School Year
|
|
11.A. The Board of Trustees gives their approval to the Superintendent to apply with TEA for a General Waiver for "other purposes". This will allow Claude ISD to continue to Partner with Amarillo College for Dual Credit Courses. It will allow students to receive more than 9 hours credit "if earned" and will be in compliance with House Bill 5 and The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
