7.D. Recognition of Guests: Whitney Harper, Elementary Math Coordinator, is recognizing the Champion and Runner Up from the 2017-2018 CISD Multiplication Bee in 3rd Grade, 4th Grade and 5th Grade.

9.A. Consider Approval of Board Minutes from March 26, 2018, for a Special Board Meeting, April 2, 2018, for a Regular Meeting, and April 19, 2018 for a Special Board Meeting.
|

9.B. Consider Approval of Expenditure Report for the month of April 2018: The attached schedule lists all checks written for the month of April 2018.
|
|
9.C. Consider Approval of the Agreement for Collection of Taxes and Surety Bond for Tarrant County Tax Assessor Collector: CISD has maintained a good working relationship with Tarrant County for the collection of taxes. The cost per account will be $.98. This is the lowest collection fee of any urban county in Texas.
|
|
9.D. Consider Approval of Skyward Annual License Fee for 2018-2019 in the amount of $55,876.00. The Skyward license fee covers the software used by the District for Student Records, Family Access, PEIMS, Finance and Human Resources.
|
|
9.E. Consider Approval of the Third Party Benefit Administrators. We advertised RFP# 18.002 for Third Party Benefit Administrator and received 2 responses. We recommend selecting First Financial Administrators to provide services to the District.

9.F. Consider Approval of Take Daughters/Sons to Work Day: It is recommended that CISD observe this event along with many of the districts in ESC XI on June 8, 2018.
|
|
9.G. Consider Approval of Canine Team Contract with Interquest Detection Canine for 2018-2019: The district will continue to use Interquest Detection Canines for contraband detection. The contract covers nineteen half day visits to the district. The cost last year was $260.00 per visit. The cost for the 2018-19 school year is $270.00 per visit.

10.A.1. Policy Update 110 has been presented to the board and is ready for discussion of TASB Policy Update 110.
|

10.A.2. Student Handbook and Code of Conduct: Detailed in this report, will be proposed changes to the Student Handbook and Code of Conduct for the 2018-2019 school year.
|
|
10.B. Consider All Matters related to Student Services/Auxiliary Services, including but not limited to reports, finances, and/or proposals.

10.B.1. Capital Improvements Projects Update (2018-19): The report reflects work scheduled to be completed and funds expended through the 2018-19 school year. This includes programming, renovations, and construction projects.

10.B.2. Replacement Plan (2018-19): Includes items that will be purchased through the Replacement Plan for the 2018-2019 school year.
|

10.C. Consider All Matters related to Teaching, Learning, and Innovation, including, but not limited to reports, finances, and/or proposals.

10.C.1. STAAR 5th and 8th grade accountability results will be presented at the board meeting Monday evening.

11.A.1. Consider Approval of the 2018-2019 Employee Compensation Plan that includes an average of a 2.0% increase for all pay grades including the teacher hiring schedule.
|
|
11.A.2. Consider Approval of the Budget Amendment: Displays any necessary budget amendments that should be made due to spending patterns. By law, the District may not exceed the budget amount within “Function” code without prior approval of the Board. The proposed budget amendment reflects the Bond Refunding and increases both revenue and expenses equally. The budget amendment reflects the most accurate information for the fiscal year to date. The amendment is a balanced amendment without funds being transferred from fund balance.

11.B.3. Consider Approval of a Castleberry High School Principal Contract Recommendation: The Superintendent of Schools will present recommendation to the Board of Education for approval of Elizabeth Priddy, Castleberry High School Principal.
