The school board is the legal governing body of our school district and consists of seven (7) members serving without compensation. The usual term of office is four (4) years.
District 26 Board of Education meets on the fourth Monday of each month. There are some months the meeting will fall on the second week of the month. Meetings begin at 6:00 pm. To accommodate additional attendees, the meeting will also be held virtually via an expanded Zoom platform. The registration link will be open 3 days prior to the meeting. Communication to and from the Board of Education can be found on policy 2:140.
