Public Comment on Agenda Items

Public participation is limited to the designated public comment portion of the meeting.  In accordance with District Policy BED (Local), the Board may impose reasonable time limits on this portion of the meeting.  Persons who wish to address the board shall submit a request by 5:00 PM before the meeting begins and shall indicate the topic about which they wish to speak.  Only items on the agenda may be addressed and items not on the agenda will be directed to the Superintendent or designee.  No presentation shall exceed five minutes (ten minutes if a translator is required).  Delegations of more than five persons shall appoint one person to present their views before the Board.

Consider approving the District Budget for General Funds, Child Nutrition Fund and Debt Service Fund for the 2026-2027 school-year, as recommended by the administration.

Consider approving the 2026-2027 TexPREP Interlocal Cooperation Contract between Valley View ISD and UTRGV, along with the continual sponsorship of students previously enrolled in TexPREP, as recommended by the administration.

Consider approving the Order of Election for Board of Trustees, Valley View ISD, Places 1, 2, and 3 to be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 and to consider and take action on related matters as required or appropriate to call for the election, as recommended by the administration.

Consider and take action to award the bid for the High School New Gym roof overlay, as recommended by the administration.
 

Consider approving the following expenses over $10,000.00 as recommended by the administration:

Grant fees payment to Comprehensive Training Center, LLC in the amount of $24,000.00 (Youth Stem Grant Funds)
