1. Call to Order. Upon announcement by the presiding officer that a quorum is present, the meeting will be called to order. The presiding officer will verify that the meeting has been duly called and notice of the meeting has been posted for the time and manner required by the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.

Consideration and approval of a resolution authorizing the issuance of the district’s Maintenance Tax Notes, Series 2026, in the approximate amount of $950,000 for various district maintenance and renovation purposes; levying a continuing, direct annual ad valorem tax for maintenance purposes, within the limit prescribed by law; and other matters in connection therewith. 8. Closed Session. Closed Session will be held for the purposes authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Section 551.001 et seq. concerning any and all purposes permitted by the Act, including but not limited to the sections and purposes listed below.

(For the purpose of considering the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property when deliberation would have a detrimental effect on the position of the governmental body in negotiations with a third person pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.072.)

8.B. Discuss the Texas School Safety Center (TxSSC) Required Safety and Security Audit Findings and 2025-2026 West ISD Safety and Security Survey Comprehensive Needs Assessment (CNA) results. (For the purpose of considering the deployment, or specific occasions for implementation, of security personnel or devices, or security audit findings pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.076.)

8.C. Discuss the Superintendent's monthly Personnel Report including possible new hires for the 2026-2027 school year.
