Public Comments The procedure for addressing the Board during Public Comments is as follows: Each speaker should address the Board from the podium and state his or her name before speaking. All speakers will be limited to five minutes to make comments regarding items on the agenda, unless modified by the Board president based on Board Policy BED (LOCAL). Copies presentations should be made available to all trustees and the Superintendent. Board policy prohibits the discussion of complaints against district employees during an open forum.

Consider approval of Minutes from previous board meeting: 8/17/2026.

Consider approval of monthly financials. 

Consider approval of the Nolan County Resolution for 4-H to have extracurricular status for the 2026-2027 school year.

Consider approval of the Mitchell County Resolution for 4-H to have extracurricular status for the 2026-2027 school year.

Consider action to appoint Nolan County Extension Personnel, Staci Winder and Nick Dickson, as Adjunct faculty members of Roscoe Collegiate ISD.

Consider action to appoint Mitchell County Extension Personnel, Jeffery Caswell, as an Adjunct faculty member of Roscoe Collegiate ISD.

Consider action to approve the Inter-local Agreement for Special Education Services between Roscoe Collegiate ISD and Colorado ISD for the 2026-27 school year for $577,000.

Action Items

Consideration and possible approval of a resolution authorizing the defeasance of certain portions of the district’s currently outstanding obligations, approving an interest and sinking fund tax rate that exceeds the minimum debt rate, and other matters related thereto.

Consider adopting an ordinance to set the Maintenance and Operations and Interest and Sinking tax rate for 2026-2027.

Consider approval of the purchase of a new school bus.
