Consider and take action to approve the Re-Opening of Roofing Bids for RCISD Roof Proposal
Description:
On Friday 1-20-23 at 9:00 a.m. in the Superintendents Office, RCISD opened 4 sealed bids mailed in via postal mail. I later learned that 1 additional bid was not included due to human error. The 1 additional bid was emailed within the specified time.
Upon visiting Ms. Emma Darling (RCISD Legal Counsel), Ms. Darling recommended re-opening all bids at a board meeting and let the minutes reflect that due to human error, we are re-opening the bids. RCISD wants to be as fair and transparent as possible. The only thing we will do at the board meeting is re-open bids. A bid will not be awarded. |
